Ingredients:
- 300g
lotus root

Chili padi (optional)

1 tbsp chopped garlic

1 tbsp chopped spring onion

1 tbsp chopped red chili

1 tbsp chopped coriander

1 tsp salt

Crispy mix flour
Pepper
salt ( mix well) :

1/2 tbsp fine salt
-
1 tsp pepper
-
1 tsp five spices powder
-
1/2 tsp MSG (optional)
Method:
- Wash the lotus root and cut into thin slices. Blanch into boiling
water for 5 minutes. Remove and drained.
- Mix the lotus root slices with crispy mix flour and salt until
well combined. Deep fry into hot oil until golden in colour and
crispy.
- Leave a bit of oil in the preheated wok to saute chooped garlic,
spring onion, and chilies till fragrant. Add in fried lotus root,
stirring constantly for a while. Lastly, mix with pepper salt
mixture. Stir fry until well combined. Dish up and serve hot.
